Privacy Policy

StackTips is a static site — every page is prebuilt from plain-text content, and there is no server, database, or user account system behind it. This policy explains what that means in practice for your privacy as a reader.

What we don't collect

You can read every tutorial, browse topics, and use search without registering, logging in, or providing any personal information. StackTips does not run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and does not set any cookies of its own. There is no comments system and no account system, so there is nothing tied to your identity to collect.

Search

The search feature on this site runs entirely in your browser against a list of article titles. Nothing you type into search is sent anywhere or logged.

Hosting logs

Like any website, the hosting provider that serves these pages may keep standard server access logs (such as IP address, requested page, and timestamp) for security and diagnostic purposes. StackTips itself does not access or analyze this data for tracking individual visitors.

External links

Tutorials sometimes link to external sites (official documentation, GitHub repos, videos, etc.). Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy doesn't cover.

If this changes

If analytics, comments, or any other data collection is ever added to this site, this page will be updated to describe it before it goes live — and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
